The New Patient

To The New Patient

On your first visit you will have the usual paperwork to fill out. (I hate it too) You will be seen by the doctor and he will talk with you about your concerns and then an examination of the problem area will be performed. X-rays are not allways taken. Only if really needed to see your problem.

On your next visit you will recieve a report of findings that outlines what is wrong and how it can be fixed. On this visit you will also be treated.

On each subsequent visit you will recieve chiropractic care and a recommendation for any additional visits you may need. Education through conversation is a benefit on each visit.

Typically, every patient is re-examined every four weeks to assess the need for further care.

We do not give out long treatment plans that go on for months. Everyone is different and everyone heals at a different rate. Therefore, your treatment plan is unique to your specific needs.

Allways feel comfortable asking difficult questions. We are here to help you.

WHAT IS THAT POPPING SOUND?

The sound you hear is air being released from the joint. Like a suction cup being pulled off a window. It is never the sound of bones snapping or touching eachother.

WHAT DOES AN ADJUSTMENT DO?

The spine houses the nervous system. The spine allows energy to flow all over your body, telling all your body parts what to do. If the spine is anything less than healthy, your whole body suffers. Eventually you will have problems like organ failure or severe arthritis. This can be prevented with regular chiropractic adjustments to the spine. Adjustments keep the spine flex-able and healthy. A healthy spine makes a healthy body. (go to "basic training")
