This information can help you change your life, the way you feel, and the way you look. It's simple and strait to the point.
Please pass this on to those you care the most about.
In one short page of information I hope to explain what you need to know to get and stay healthy.
If you are at apoint where you want to know what it takes to get your health back. Or, you want to know how to stay healthy and avoid the doctor. This is where it all starts.
There are three areas that must have your attention and I will list them in order of importance. They are, the brain and spinal cord, the food we eat, and the movement we put our bodies through.
1. First comes the brain and spinal cord. This is the system that recieves and sends information to all your body parts and systems. Example: If you eat a burrito the brain picks up that info from the stomach via the nerves in your spine. The brain sends a message back to the stomach via the nerves and tells it what to do with the burrito. Without a good connection (healthy spine) the message could be wrong and you will suffer from indigestion, acid reflux, or ulcers. If the spine is healthy, your body will take care of the burrito like it is supposed to. This scenario can be played out with every organ in your body. Summary: If your spine is inflexable or misaligned, the nerves don't work right and you become unhealthy, or in pain.
2. The food we eat. Food is a sensitive subject for many people because it is used as a form of relief or escape. To give up the one thing we love so much is not even up for discussion! But discuss we must. Rule of thumb: Everything we put in our mouth causes a chemical equation to begin. Even water. The body wants to do something good with everything you eat. That's what it is programed to do. but when we put un-natural foods into our body, it begins to make things you don't want. Example: Clogged arteries are the result of unwanted fat deposits roaming around in the blood. Where ever they stick is where they live. Until you get clogged up you don't know it's there. Another example: Cancer is a case where your body gets so much of what it doesn't like that it can no longer defend itself and the cells go crazy. They are called free radicals.
When we eat food that God made, your innate intelligence knows what to do with it and it uses it all up on making your body healthy and whole. Anything left over is used as fiber to clean out your gut. Nature is a marvelous thing! Food is fuel to our engine and nutrients for our cells. Thats it!
3. Body movement. Our bodies were designed for extreme movement everyday. Think about this: For thousands of years we have had to walk or run everywhere. We had to build our own homes, grow and pick our own food, and carry lots of heavy stuff. This is what were made for. We were not made to drive BMW's and SUV's, sleep on cushy beds, or sit at a desk all day. You and I need to make up for all this lost movement. If we don't we can expect things like arthritis, degenerative conditions, obesity, diabetes, and the list goes on. Move it or lose it baby!
These movments lost to modern convenience are things like stretching, running or walking, lifting weights, and swimming. I can assure you that if you were to make time for some of these movements, you would look and feel fantastic (younger too).
The body responds to positive input with positive output. This means that if you increase your level of activity, the body will naturally reduce it's body fat, tone it's muscles, and increase it's strength and endurance. It naturally has to, just to keep up. You feel better as a result. The opposite is also true.
On a phisiological and cellular level, increased body movement restores health to your cells. Movement increases your immune system strength. Movement cleans out clogged arteries and cleans up all your internal organs. Movement even makes your bones stronger.
Tip: Start slow. So slow that you may wonder if you did enough. It's always batter to be safe than sorry. Don't run too far or walk too fast at first. Don't try to bench press two hundred pounds. Go easy and increase slowly. This will insure that you don't injure yourself. Make it enjoyable or you won't do it. Just human nature!
In Summary: The spine, the food, and the movement, all combine to make a healthy body. If you address these on a consistent basis, you will be healthy!
That's it...Keep it simple, from Dr. Dave.
